Sport and Exercise
Many children love to engage with sport and exercise and it has a positive impact on your physical and mental health. The children can engage with their teachers through activities suggested in their timetabled PE and Games sessions throughout the week, but there are also many other online workouts and offline activities in which to get involved.
There will also be ideas from the Sports Department on extra activities to do in the children’s free time. Children may be able to build an obstacle course in the garden if space allows, create a dance routine, or to practise ball skills either with a football, cricket, rounders or tennis ball. Simply walking in the fresh air provides a change of perspective and the chance to refocus.
